A glory of #PlainText work, this via #emacs #orgmode: I mis-clocked some time spent. I was able to visit the wrong-time thing and yank the bad time span and paste it in the correct thing, fixing my agenda accounting. What graphic #TimeTracking apps make it so easy?

Obviously, #Clockodo is not used as widely as other #TimeTracking apps, so (for now) you will probably only get to reuse one half of my solution.

Still, I'm pretty sure that seeing your Jira work logs in a calendar view can already help quite a bit in identifying gaps. Also, remember that you can now see work logs side by side with your regular events, e.g meetings.

The month of May had a bunch of free days, so I wondered what to do…

I contribute to a bunch of #FreeSoftware, at home and at work, and have basically no idea of the time I spend on each project.

As a systems administrator, I like to have metrics.

All #TimeTracking software I tried sucks: you have to tell it "I start to do stuff" and "I stopped doing stuff", 2 toil things I am 100% confident to forget to do.

I made a small command line tool for time tracking with absence.io. I mainly use a terminal and a text editor when I’m working so now there is no need for browser when I need to change my status.

Sneak peek of the new calendar view that will be included in the next version of TimeDeposit. It will allow you to see your daily logs at a glance.

Also, external calendar support will be included, so adding meeting times is as easy as selecting the calendar event and registering it as a log.

Why the heck would the #Harvest #TimeTracking Chrome browser extension need to read my browsing history?

What are y'all liking for #TimeTracking tools these days? I love(d) #Toggl and their browser integration that let me stop/start from any browser window, but recent updates have me looking for an alternative.

I make most of my income by developing iOS, Android and web apps for UK-based clients. I use #OrgMode to track my time. So I can quickly see my current timer I've got an xbar script to add this to the macOS menu bar.
