By April Fools’ Day, tourists and seasonal residents had gone home to resume their regular lives. By May Day, locals were ready to officially reclaim their beach. The days were longer, but the rain and steamy heat had not yet rolled in. The town heaved a collective sigh of relief and settled into its normal postcard-perfect life—quiet and peaceful like a small town should be.

That was before the dead girl appeared, neatly wrapped in fur.

On #WritersCoffeeClub I mentioned that the Engineer has "a USS Enterprise" in storage. Why? He likes that ship. Do he use it for something? No idea. It's in his personal vault. Which one? No idea. No one of the thieves is still alive to tell the story. How they did it? They infiltrated (easy thing) and faked an "abandon ship" emergency. Then the time ship "ate" that Enterprise. What did Starfleet do about this? They keept silence, because shaaaame…>=)

Sept 7 - MC rainy day activities

The Sea Haven series is based in South Florida, where it rains a bit every other day (if not daily) except during the short dry season. Morgan LeFevre, my main character, lives in a beach town with the philosophy that you shouldn't be on the beach if you don't want to get wet. Sun showers and gentle mists pass so quickly, she barely has time to shove her camera into the case. The rare all-day downpour will find her working on the computer.

Once she was thoroughly wet and started sneezing, they'd shower... and I'll stop here to keep this SFW. Then, she'd coop up under the blankets with a book while Claire prepared cups of coffee with generous doses of honey. Claire would join her under the blankets, and Belle would read for her until they both fell asleep.

Maistro go to his room and close the door. "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT" would appear in his door's screen. See, he doesn't like rain, for unknown reasons. If he must go out, he does but he tries to avoid rain.

Now, he doesn't do the kind of things a high level pervert like him would do when he's alone in his room.

He does simple things like playing video games (he likes 80's classics), read technical manuals, or practice knitting. Seriously.

The arrival of the Engineer & Co. disrupted the peace in the organization. No one knew from which planet those pirates came from. Their technology, way more advanced, scared everyone. Little they knew those criminals were not from their reality. They left, but society was never the same…

Kids had to learn the all the regulation books along with math, history, etc. By the time they were 10 they knew how to behave in society and respect the public order. He's trying to do something like that here, but for the people's economy sake…

Unfortunately for everyone involved, no. The loop is sustained by desires, which are easily exploited, ensuring nothing can change. Younger versions will be manipulated by their old versions, who in turn will be manipulated by other travellers. Everyone thinks they hold the truth, and so the world spins...

Or is there a way to change things? Let my characters know if you find the answer!

After every jump back in time, Morgan is hit with results of her actions. She experiences a level of physical and emotional trauma commensurate with the significance of the changes she has caused. Sometimes all she can do is shift the timing of an event. Other times the results are disastrous.

The time-ship, that beautiful mac mini-like monstrosity. Did you know that it can travel waaaaaay faster than light? It's unclear if its propulsion system is science or magic based, but it's top speed is something like Star Trek's warp 9.9999995. It takes some time to go from zero to that speed, but by the time a hypothetical pursuer equals it's velocity, the time-ship is 100 star systems ahead. It was made to escape something awful, so it had to be fast.

The Locksmith Trilogy is the story of a boy who finds a portal to the future. When he goes through, he finds an empty world.
Where did the portal come from?
What happened/will happen to everybody?
Can the future be changed? And can it be changed enough to prevent the end of the world?
