2) Can it reference e.g. 'yesterday' easily without typing the full date out?
3) Is the storage backend git merge friendly? Can you use your $EDITOR to edit multi-line notes?
4) Can it handle simultaneous periods?

Those are the points that annoy me with #timewarrior.

As a #timeWarrior you still never have all the variables; you have to protect the present and hope to create sustainable action. You have to keep your mind open to new perspective and trust those closest to the issues. You have no choice but to do your best with the tools and info available in the moment. Sometimes the sharpest tool is accepting others judgement, and other times it's hopes and dreams

In #fateZero Kiritsugu should learn from the boat problem, and try to put all humanity in the same boat from the start so they don't have to sacrifice the minority when an anticipated danger happens. To avoid lose-lose situations through wisdom and history and high enough value one human life that we'll pay for redundant supplies rather than writing off a few deaths as an acceptable loss, but you can only help people who are willing to accept help and learn, cooperating among a group rather than with it.

If someone asks me to be a #timeWarrior, should I say no?
It's the cliche reaction to a call to adventure, but I'm not interested in being a warrior and don't have any skills in that area, actually I'd identify more as a peacemaker, so why're they asking me?
Of course they'd say "I'm destined to be the greatest"
Maybe when the warrior person is done and they need a time empress, dancer, or oracle I could try that. I could probably fill any position fine if I had enough practice

Thinking about it, @joeyh's #gitAnnex could be quite a good backend for a ⏱️ time tracker solving pretty much all of my issues with #timeWarrior (see 🧵☝️):

- 🔄 powerful, conflict resistant, decentralized (auto-)syncing with #git
- 🔐 encryption possible
- 📟 easily scriptable, existing API (e.g. --batch --json)

An implementation could e.g.:

- use #gitAnnex metadata for start/end time and/or tags
- use file content as notes
- use @willmcgugan's #Python #rich or #textual for pretty display

I'm already tracking my time with TaskWarrior and TimeWarrior for work.
But, I find it too complicated to track the time I spend for each email in Timewarrior

Je pense que c'est la solution vers laquelle je vais me tourner en effet (#taskwarrior + #timewarrior) c'est une solution complète qui semble assez puissante. J'ai lu un article dans un vieux #linuxpratique sur le sujet hier soir, il faut encore que je regarde ce qui existe en terme d'export de data (est-ce qu'on peut en extraire des graphiques pour voir ce qu'on a foutu sur un mois ou un an par exemple...).
