So, you've spent a great deal of time writing documentation for a particular feature (despite this really being the job of the Business Analyst, not the Developer) but when you direct people (sometimes the person who requested the document) to it they say 'can you just give me an overview or demo instead?'.

Why? Why can't you just read the document instead - maybe there's an omission in there that can be addressed if someone bothered to read it making it more useful.

As I finished up my late lunch, I switched my browser to #Advanced and zomg I love it. Click something in one of the left three columns and it appears int he far right column. Brilliantly better #browsing (i.e., #timewasting) feature. I need to start feedbacking papers and I need to write a short essay assignment due end of next week. But I’m lying on my couch in the waning sun clutching my Erickson novel … I may read instead.

I've changed a meme to make people aware that they not only waste their time, but even harm themselves. Not only psychologically, but physically, too. Social media, video games and pornographic content can be very harmful.

Going out for a walk (not taking the phone with you) and thinking about your goals in life and working on them, after you come back, might be healthier.

I would've posted photos of the walk I did, yesterday, but, I spent all my time trying to understand why my photo import program no longer worked.

After wasting loads of time delving into exiftool and PyExifTool, I realised the camera had stopped timestamping the photos. Gah!

For some reason, that I don't understand, the camera was setting:
0000:00:00 00:00:00
as the date/time for all photos.

Fixed, now.
