I'm not a fan in particular of the mutant books, but I have a soft spot for some characters... Nightcrawler, Mirage, Warlock... Betsy. Tini Howard did an interesting run with her Excalibur, and I'm quite happy to see both writer and main character back, this time finally giving Betsy her own title. An interesting first issue, now let's hope this book will last enough to develop its potential.

I’m going through all of these just to reread my comics, and the one I was most excited about this week was #Excalibur vol. 4 #6.
This ish has a lot of great character moments, and sets up the feel and themes of the rest of the #TiniHoward’s run.
Best of: #Rogue and #Gambit being intimate, while Rogue confesses she doesn’t want kids. #BrianBraddock finally becoming an interesting character and dealing with trauma. •--|A|--• and Jamie bonding over their mutual psychopathy.
Worst of: That cover.

#Excalibur vol. 4 #5 Has one of my favourite covers of all time (by #MahmudAsrar), it’s such a stunningly beautiful image, with the dark and threatening pressence of •--|A|--•.
#TiniHoward also throws in one of the best cliffhangers of #DawnofX.
