Since it's the beginning of birthday month, I broke open my last tin from Rainbow Tomato Garden--a small tin of sardine pate in spicy tomato sauce. I'm also wearing my cream-colored ensemble. Will I make it through the next 20 minutes without gerbering down my shirt? It's a mystery.

@ghoulpus I'm here for the #tinnedfish conversation. My current favorite is Fangst heather and chamomile smoked sprat, but I'm also a fan of various tinned herrings served over warm rice.

I would like to get over being sick, so I can go back to enjoying some #TinnedFish. Also, I still haven't had any downtime during this end of the year break, and I'm completely exhausted, but mostly I want some fish.

Scout Maine Lobster: Fine, but only for a rare occasion when you really want lobster and are far from civilization.

Fishwife Smoked Salmon with Fly by Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp: Delicious sauce, ok salmon. Would be delicious on top of noodles.

This might sound odd, but I love tinned fish and seafood. Today's treat was A Canatara's mussels en escabeche on toasted sourdough. The mussels were plump and firm, and tasted of the sea. The spiced oil had a fair bite to it, and was smokey and full of garlic. This would be equally delicious stirred through pasta. It's a shame I can only get these tins online.

I have no intention of becoming a person who takes pictures of all my food, but I do want to get others on the #TinnedFish bandwagon.

Today in #TinnedFish exploration, I used Ramon Peña's "Spicy Mussels with Garlic and Chili Pepper", and tossed it with leftover pasta, grape tomatoes, and some baby greens. Added a little chicken bouillon for depth, and it was quite tasty.

Should probably do an #introduction in the form of a list of things I enjoy, but I'm a #depressed person who has #depression and #anxiety and is experiencing a pretty good bout of #anhedonia at the moment so it's a short list. Sometimes I get a good #dissociation going but not right now. Also a #RecoveringAlcoholic.
