This might sound odd, but I love tinned fish and seafood. Today's treat was A Canatara's mussels en escabeche on toasted sourdough. The mussels were plump and firm, and tasted of the sea. The spiced oil had a fair bite to it, and was smokey and full of garlic. This would be equally delicious stirred through pasta. It's a shame I can only get these tins online.
