@alan neither of my cats like to lick me, which I am very pleased about. #TinyCat will jump on any lap she finds in my, or my neighbour's house and purr pleasingly. #LongCat meows loudly and demand pats, and then more pats should you stop.
Neither are particularly cuddly, except on their own terms.

Cats own themselves and enforce their own boundaries.

@alan that's so sweet. #TinyCat usually does that too, but still sit back about 5 steps to check them out. She selectively graces a few with the blessing of cheek rubs.

#TinyCat spent the day with the front neighbour, and has just come home to ensure she doesn't miss out on dinner.

1. Jump up onto neighbour's windowsill (6' off the ground)
2. Wait for neighbour to see her and let her in
3. Claim a tapestry covered chair and roll around on it (with selfie video posted on FB)
4. Explore cupboards
5. Check out what's being cooked
6. Decide it's time to leave and get neighbour to open their back door and gate, and then knock on my front door.

I'm preparing for my job interview and so closed my office door, only to hear the soft, mournful cries of #TinyCat who loves me so very, very much and needed to tell and show me right this minute.

#TinyCat is now full of sneaky lunch, and my interview prep continues.

I fed the cats 2.5 hrs ago. I then went to rest and read for a bit before my own dinner.

I have not yet had dinner. Instead, I have #TinyCat sprawled across me. She settled in straight after her own dinner and does not appear to be interested in moving.
