24) COMPLEX / SIMPLE RPG I play.

Well, as of right now the complex RPGs I currently play are #DnD5e, #Cthulhu, #Shadowrun, #TheOneRing and #OSE (B/X is NOT a rules light game imo). As for the simple ones, well I hope to play #TrophyRPG again, soon. I also enjoy the #TinyD6 games, #IntoTheOdd, and #Cairn.

Liebstes Regelwerk.

Ich mag #FreeformUniversal (#FU) sehr, weil es W6-basiert ist, aber ohne Figurenwerte auskommt. Beschreiber (Attribute) bestehen aus Adjektiv und Substantiv und geben +1W6, wenn sie passen. Sowohl Figuren als auch Orte können Zustände erhalten, das finde ich grandios.

Ansonsten mag ich #TunnelGoons sehr gern, weil es sooo regelleicht ist, ähnlich wie die #TinyD6-Spiele. Allerdings braucht es für etwas mehr Fleisch paar Hausregeln.

Day 4 at #RPGaDay2023

Most recent game bought?

Most recently, I bought the game Tiny Pirates. It is one of the several #TinyD6 products I own.

While this game specifically is oriented towards playing 17th century pirates, the system is flexible enough that there are versions for playing #Cthulhu games, #western, #Fantasy, and so on.

While I still haven't actually ran a TinyD6 game, I am... cautiously optimistic about this.

gegen die künstlerisch interessierten Echsenmenschen in die Schlacht zogen. Dinge, die ich gelernt habe: Bei #TinyD6 sind Charaktere auf höheren Level (wie die Kaijus) doch etwas sperrig. Da werde ich das nächste fertige Monster mitbringen oder mehr improvisieren. Und größere Gegnerhorden ziehen die Kämpfe dann doch in die Länge… aber: Hammersettin. Kann man nicht anders sagen. Danke noch einmal an die Improvisationsfreudigen und aktiven Mitspieler:innen.

Durfte gestern zwei schöne Runden auf de #SommerCon in #Osnabrück leiten. Heute musste ich leider aus familiären Gründen kurzfristig absagen. Aber wir hatten viel Spaß beim Basteln und Beleben der Monsterinsel, auch wenn es eigentlich nicht so gedacht war, dass sich die #Kaijus dem Großen Alten so bereitwillig unterwerfen würden (System #TinyD6). Und spät abends hatten wir viel Spaß bei #AcidDeathFantasy , wo die Alleinerziehende Affenmutter mit Hilfe von Ex-Nanosand-Agenten etc.

@LeviKornelsen I don't know that I can make a useful list. There are so many rpgs I like. I also have my own supplements including #BrickExoframe in #PocketQuest2023

Guten Morgen! War fleißig: der #MörkBorg Abend in #Münster ist vorbereitet (inklusive dem #MiniaturenBemalen für #ForbiddenPsalm ). Das Table Top werde ich auch auf der #SommerCon des #Rubicon in #Osnabrück anbieten. Dort gibt es dann auch Runden mit #AcidDeathFantasy , #FrontierScum (mit meinem #Dungeon23 Projekt) und eine Runde #HeroKids für die lieben Kleinen und ihre Eltern. Jetzt muss ich nur noch schauen, ob ich mein #TinyD6 Abenteuer fertig kriege…

I'm feeling a bit envious of people on dice.camp who keep posting statuses about their #ttrpg projects or games or what have you.

While I'm not currently running anything, the thing is... I have a project of my own, too. It's just that... It doesn't feel like something worth writing about.

But since this is a dedicated ttrpg server. Let's give it a try, anyway!

I probably won't get this because I already have them all. It's a great #ttrpg system that occupies a space between "minimalist + narrative/story-focused" (e.g. Freeform Universal) and "anything with any real crunch". Not storygame but also traditional in structure. Characters are defined by what feats they have - apart from that you just have HP, and rolls have three possible difficulties.

@HeyeBodo Rollenspiel ist für mich ein sehr soziales Hobby, bei dem ich mit ähnlich tickenden Menschen die Freude an gemeinsamen Geschichten teile. Die Geschichte ist mir wichtiger als die Regeln, letztere müssen aber dennoch zum Zweck passen(, wenn es welche gibt).

Deshalb möchte ich einfache Systeme wie #FreeformUniversal oder #TinyD6 spielen, so was wie Shadowrun oder Cthulhu nicht mehr. Ich hab deswegen vor Kurzem auch die Möglichkeit, wo mitzuspielen, abgelehnt, das gibt sonst nur Frust.
