While it's common for people to use #URL shortening services like #Bitly, #TinyUrl, etc. - The reality is when you use them you are providing a 3rd party with more information than you need to.

Das geht wohl gerade stark um, #spam. Aber wir nerds auf Mastodon wissen ja, dass man nicht auf unbekannte Links klickt 😀
