I’m hearing it corners better with three blades while flight time stays the same, so I thought I’d give it a try as well.

This made a world of a difference for more precise flying indoors.

Using Betaflight configurator set an exponent of 0.40 on the throttle of a (especially with punchier motors), it makes altitude control way nicer.

In other cases I will probably prefer linear throttle, but in small spaces this gives more precision where it counts. Maybe try it out!

Backup Tinywhoop go! Since my normal quad is still a burnt wreck and I’m waiting for replacement parts, I went ahead with my plan of eventually acquiring a as well.

This is a Moblite7 with a HDZero VTX. It’s weird and neat getting video from something this small ^^

Takes some getting used to the shorter flight times and how it flies, but it’s getting pretty fun!

My partner actually has me looking at Tinywhoops? I feel very lucky to have her 💞

Moblite7 with HDZero + ELRS looks rather fun and flyable indoors! HDZero should be lighter than Avatar HD, racing compatible (some day) and I’d get some use out of the inbuilt receiver in the goggles.

I had intended to spend my weekend testing new rates on my but the props I ordered came in.

So, now it looks like I'm comparing 31mm props in 2, 3, and 4 blade styles instead.

Testing too many variables at once screws up the data. I'm really curious to figure out which ones I'll end up liking the most.

One the courses that my teenager's YDSC (Youth Drone Sports Championships) team races every week. There's a different course each week, each designed to fit in a classroom. There's a mirror in the tall gate and an app that runs on an iPad that records when the drone passes through the gate. It's been a great experience for my kid.
