Looking for an acoustic guitar and tarot deck.

I do street outreach and someone we meet every week has had their guitar stepped on. They used this as a primary means to make money and are quite distraught about the loss.

Or maybe you saw a reasonably priced one and a few of us could work to all pitch in a bit?

We told them that we'll try and help and get the word out.

While chatting though they did light up when talking about reading tarot. Mentioned dragons, particular a fire dragon. So if anyone has or would want to offer a deck, that'd be appreciated too.

So especially since ' really haven't seen it reported at all other than via CKUT's Prison Radio Show but the québec government is planning the $400 million CAD construction of a new women's prison on the island of so-called Montréal.

Obviously it's something to be resisted: for financial and environmental costs, and the inhumanity of caging people.

They're looking for a couple volunteers for a cookie decorating activity at a shelter tomorrow (Dec 27th) around 5/6pm.

What is entailed:
-set up/ take down/ clean up
-help get someone set up at the activity table
-make sure the supplies (icing, sprinkles, etc) is filled
-chat with the people there

There are a couple local orgs organizing a few holiday activities for the unhoused at Milton/Parc (Tiohtia:ke/Montreal) and they're looking for volunteers and donations. The days depend on the activity.

DETAILS:
22nd:
-Volunteers needed to make gift bags
+ Looking for donations to give out - It is planned to be a pair of socks with items inside such as chocolates, batteries, gift cards, deck of cards, etc.

24th
-The Open Door holiday dinner- need help serving and cleaning up.
*NB: The Open door looking for volunteers (various positions) not just for specific events.

26th
-Bannock and tea event for residents and community- they need flour and baking soda for the bannock and meals to distribute.

27th
Cookie decorating event at the Open Door :
– need volunteers to make or bring cookies + cleaning and helping with the activity.
-Looking for donations of baking supplies/ baked cookies.

29th and 30th
New years event – need volunteers to help with set up/take down & prep + serving food.
