Do you find that the keyboard commands you assigned to run Siri shortcuts often conflict with app commands? If you use VoiceOver, you can assign commands in Keyboard Commander to run shortcuts which will work regardless of what app you have in focus at the current time.

Your iPhone's touch screen is not the only touch-responsive surface on the device. Double or triple-taps on the back of your iPhone can be configured to toggle accessibility settings, run shortcuts, access system functions, or perform VoiceOver functions. Just go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap to map taps to system or accessibility functions, or Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Commands > Touch gestures to map taps to VoiceOver functions. applevis.com/podcasts/revisiti

Want to be able to access a buried file or folder from a more convenient location on macOS, but don't want to or can't copy or move it out of its parent folder? Just focus on the item in Finder and choose File > Make Alias (or press Command-Control-A.) You can then name and place the newly created alias wherever you want without affecting the location of the original item, and make as many additional aliases for that item as you want. 1/2

If you'd rather it didn't try to infer punctuation on its own, you can turn auto-punctuation off by going to Settings (System Settings on macOS) > Keyboard, and disabling the "Auto-punctuation" toggle.

Then whenever you want to select text, focus on a block of text, turn the rotor to text selection, swipe up or down with one finger to choose the level you want to select by, then swipe left or right with one finger to select and deselect the text. applevis.com/podcasts/quick-ti

Need to quickly get to certain elements in a complex Mac app but don't want to deal with navigating and interacting with other elements to find them? Just focus on an element and press VO, Shift, and a number from 0 to 9 to set a hotspot. Then, whenever that window is in the foreground, pressing VO and the number you assigned the hotspot to will take you directly to that element, no extra navigation or interaction required.
