I want to talk about how children in that era where treated as working hands, thus having dreams or hobbies was seen as a weakness. (Hence why the older generation refuses to stay retired, they have no hobbies, just a protestant work ethic). But also want to discuss Pearl’s mothers comments about seeing her so evil things being a weak point for me by just making her evil at birth rather than the lifestyle turning her that way. #Pearl #TiWest
