In case you were wondering how we attempted to find satellite signals in the #LOFAR data, here is a summary of the approach:
1. The basic idea was to use satellite #TLE (two line elements) to predict when a satellite would be crossing the field of view. For each of the beams (pixels) on the sky, whe then extract some data around these event times (+/- some seconds). These are like the spectrograms included in the paper. 7/

@pi9cam I'm used to working with a #radar, so "doppler tracking" means something different to me (a closed loop track based on direct #doppler #observations).
But I think I understand what you are saying. You are directing the #antenna via the #TLE and a doppler correction is being applied from that TLE, but for whatever reason itis slightly wrong so it isn't perfectly aligned.

@pi9cam I don't think I understand what I'm seeing. I assume you are tracking via passive #RF. But the waterfall doesn't look tracked--that seems to be #doppler shift through crossover.
Oh, you usually do #astronomy work, so you probably wouldn't normally even have a tracker. I bet you are just pointing at the #TLE and this little #cubesat (broadcasting on multiple channels, it seems) was close enough that you saw it.

I hit the current max level of 70 in two #mmorpgs recently: Holy Priest in #wow #dragonflight and a Defiler in #eq2 on the #varsoon time locked server (#TLE).
