Oh hey, previous post reminds me I have a physical therapy question. I'm seeing a PT for TMJ issues. My exercises are gentle and simple: chin tucks, opening up cervical spine, etc. He wants to see me 2X/week for 6 weeks! A couple weeks my appts. are 48 hours from each other.

I was an oncology LMT and have some A&P knowledge. I can't figure out what would change in 2-3 days requiring this kind of contact. Is this normal? It feels off. Thoughts?

Woke up with my neck and #TMJ screaming. Just a slight misalignment in your facial bones, spine, or skull and one week of rain you get one week of a nonstop headache with these kinds of symptoms. We've had almost three. Using a car ride to toss someone in #Cataplexy around like a bag of rocks to trigger it doesn't help.

Still awake due to my TMJ pain. Just started another round of physical therapy for the pain which gives me headaches most days. My pain specialist wants me to consider Botox afterwards to relax the muscles since it's been an ongoing issue requiring many physical therapy appointments. I think I'm in agreement and it would probably be better than taking the as needed muscle relaxer. #TMJ #pain #headaches

This is, NUTS. I've been suffering #TMJ pain for a few months now and occasionally it's pretty intense. Just found this guy who says it can be linked to the gallbladder. Thought he was about to break into a lecture on chakras, but gave it a try. Instant relief!

Having all the above, the spasms are brutal. Muscle relaxers don't stop the pain, nor the spasms. I'm allergic to NSAIDs. Pain medications save and improve lives.
