So, this year, I’ve read 220 books. This includes manga. I really can’t pick a favorite book at the moment. With another 2 weeks still left in the year, I could TRY and make it to 250. Reading that much though sets a lot of expectations for me. I’m used to letting people down lol #reading #toberead

By the way, I followed the Guardian Live event 8 Dec. with Naomi Klein, Greta Thunberg, Saleemul Huq, Kate Raworth, and Ayisha Siddiqa. They've all contributed to a new book called "The Climate Book". I enjoyed listening to Kate Raworth & must bump her #DoughnutEconomics book up my TBR list. However, Ayisha Siddiqa moved me to tears with her sharp and eloquent arguments for taking much better care of our planet. Young people like her give me hope. #ClimateChange #ClimateBook #ToBeRead

Determined to get rid of my TBR pile. Pull 9 books off it and put them on the coffee table to read over the next few weeks.
Then I'll pull another 9 & keep doing it until my pile is manageable. Suffice to say I'll be reading for at least a year to get it down (that's if I can resist buying more books).

Our most recent book was one from my #UnReadShelf - the witch finders sister by Beth underdown, which we finished last night.

Got to admit, I found it pretty underwhelming, given how exciting the subject matter is but will save that for the review!
