Today's Ride: Some numbskull driving the wrong way down a one way street turns into me at an intersection. I avoid then hoot and holler. They took offense to that and stopped for a CONFRONTATION. I pulled alongside and LET THEM KNOW. They asked "What are you gonna do about it". So I thought of some things and replied "Well, for starters.." and they didn't wait for me to finish my threats and sped off and hit a planter and fucked their car up. #TodaysRide #BikeTO #BikeTooter @fedibikes

Today's Ride: Same as yesterday with a Humber chaser. No bunnies today but got to race a muskrat. Back to wildflower meadow of course. Also got to experience a beautiful city moment where otherwise competing and antagonistic forces joined against a common enemy to heckle a cop who was making a mess "directing traffic". Props to the motorist who yelled out "You're making it worse than the signals!"

Today's Ride: Been a while since I've posted one of these. Ventured through the shape shifting technical course that is Adelaide St. Mutant ass road. Just all over the place. Keep your wits about you. The spit is THICC right now with growth on the single track paths that'll ring your bell and pull on your brake levers. Gorgeous wildflower pollinators as well. 0 bunnies tho. Ride rating 28/10.

Today's Ride: An annual charity ride on the local highway system.

It's a real highlight ride of the year.

Such a treat to rip through the city on the elevated highway (tear it down) then blasting through the ravines roadways.

The lack of motor vehicle noise is just wild.

Perfect day for the ride. Clear sky, not much wind and perfect temps. Thanks to those who donated to help make this possible.

Today's Ride: Once again, THE USUAL. Rip through the city then south to the tip o' the spit then waterfront trail return.

ADELAIDE IS SO BAD RIGHT NOW. Streetcar track replacement and installation, general roadwork, cycle track relocation, the usual motorist lawlessness. Exciting if you're into that kind of thing. I don't judge.

Rest of the trip was standard fare other than ALL THE MIDGES IN THE WORLD tonight.

Today's Ride: The usual. Through the city then south out onto the spit with a waterfront trail return.

ONE EXCEPTION. Coming around a blind corner on the multi-use path there was a group standing in the middle of the path. I assumed they were run of the mill Obliviots so hollered, "HEADS UP! AND LEASH YOUR DOG!".

The largest of the group shouted back, "IT'S A SICK RACOON, STUPID!".

So a public apology to the group of concerned citizens.

Chipping my way through the financial district melee towards the spit. In the thick of it some lil’ stocky pockmarked and leather tanned man in a business ‘fashion’ suit blindly walking in front of me against the light, attempting to assert his dominance.

He looked a lot like an AI disfigured Mickey Rourke so I blurted out, “My right of way Mickey."

He PATTED MY ASS AS I RODE BY AND SAID “NO PROBLEM BUD”

Today's ride: Into the ravines! Headed into the Don river valley then through the Taylor Creek ravine. Absolutely gorgeous weather. Bluebells all over. The Taylor Creek path has been resurfaced and is really nice. The single track paths north of the creek has a lot of downed trees though. Noticed a troublesome knocking noise on the ride. Today's ride: Bit of a twist on the usual. Pushed into the Beaches a bit then hit up the Spit. I didn't feel like going straight home so got into some laps on the Spit. I Considered shooting for a weird, looped out, 100km route but didn't have any snacks on me so started to fade around 50km. Today's ride: Well, yesterday; but it's late and I'm still up. Hi! So. I tried to repair my mangled derailleur cage and just made it worse so I brought the beater to the LBS and they got me sorted. Took the 'new to me' derailleur out to see the spit and caught some beautiful light amongst the ruins. Ride rating: 14/10.

Today's ride: Same old, same old with a Humber hit. Gorgeous day out. Got that D. Saw a massive hawk on the spit but no swans. They must've got the message. Met a nice couple at the tip who were visiting from Argentina and we're loving the ice trees. Saw a few kite surfers off of Cherry Beach just ripping it. Today's Ride: The usual. Suffered a mechanical when I saw some swans in a lagoon and went to flip them off but this involved a bit of single track where I got my rear derailleur hung up on a stump and bent out of shape. Was able to use a technique called 'kicking' where I was able to stamp it 'mostly' back into place. Got me home at least. Should be fine with some fine tuning.
