Nerves were calmed with drink and food. I paced myself and hit the pauses and breaks as planned and my spoke word piece took just over six minutes and tonight’s #TransDayOfRemembrance event.
Feeling pretty happy with myself and multiple people asked where they can find more of my material so I guess it’s time to start writing again. It’s spread across multiple writing books so I’ll start by reviewing and seeing what I can continue or revise.

Heartbreaking: #TransDayOfRememberance and yet more innocent people have been maimed and killed by a gun peddling bigot in Colorado Springs. Vile. #TODR

Wrote another page for this #todr performance. A narrative is coming together but the #performance of #storytelling is still lacking. I think I’ll be able to revise it tomorrow into something I’m comfortable reading on stage, it’s just unusual to perform something prepared as opposed to #improvising it.

Haven’t written anything in years but I agreed to write a spoken word for #todr so I’m going through my writing books to get back into the mindset.
