La stella denominata #TOI700 è una nana di tipo M, localizzata a circa 100 anni luce dal nostro sistema solare. Si tratta di una stella di piccole dimensioni e basse temperature, ha una massa circa il 40% quella del Sole e una temperatura pari a circa la metà. Nel sistema TOI 700 ci sono quattro pianeti due dei quali molto interessanti
- #TOI700D ha un periodo di 37 giorni ed è situato all’interno della zona abitabile conservativa.
- #TOI700E  È un pianeta roccioso pari al 95% della Terra.

An article accepted for publication in "The Astrophysical Journal Letters" reports the discovery of the exoplanet TOI 700 e. A team of researchers used observations conducted with NASA's TESS space telescope and confirmed with other instruments to find it. It's the fourth planet discovered in the TOI 700 red dwarf system and is interesting because it's a rocky planet a bit smaller than Earth.
