As I predicted. People are driving less and driving less across the bridges because the cost of gas & tolls is too high. So, now the bridges are complaining that they aren't making enough money and are going to have to RAISE tolls in order to make up the deficit.

Same things is already happening re water use. People conserved water like they were "told" to do and now the water companies are saying they are losing $ and have to raise their rates in order to make up the deficit.

It's a zero sum game and there's no way for the "consumer" to win, except to stop using gas, water and/or driving over the bridges, which is not a practical reality.

The then when people stop driving over the bridges because the tolls are too high, they'll raise the tolls again because they aren't enough people driving over the bridges for them to generate enough $ to maintain the roads/bridges.

Just like water departments are now raising their rates, after telling people to conserve and cut back on their water use because of the dought, they aren't making enough $ because they aren't generating enough income because people aren't using water.
