I feel that Tub's (of Tom and Tub of Moby Dick) real first name is Tab and that he is named after heartthrob Tab Hunter, but his mom feels he is too fat to share a name with the hunky Tab. But if Tub can lose 15 more pounds, she'll start calling him Tab. For reals this time. And this is why Tom and Tub ran away to play in the ocean with a whale, who will never make fun of Tub's weight.
