Dat was een donders mooie avond gisteren bij Dinercafé Autentieq in Assen. En meteen aanleiding om een whisky/sigaren-genootschap op te richten. Geweldig, samen genieten van de fijne smaken in het leven.

On the nose, fruit and spice and everything nice. On the palate, just a ton of wonderful fruit and a warm lingering spice.
Truly wonderful, and a fantastic way to finish this set.

Het was een waar whiskyfeest gisteravond in een uitverkocht Café 't Ponton in Kampen. Jimmy van Cafe 't Ponton had een prachtige line-up geselecteerd met onder ander een Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey 16y Doublewood en een Ardmore Portwood.

I was gifted a Tomatin 12-year-old single malt scotch whisky for my birthday a few days ago and I've been looking forward to popping it open.
Beautiful aromas of delicate fruits, fresh cut wood and layered floral notes.
