Honestly the rules are a little antagonistic (in the original #Gygax #tome ), but when there is real communication between the player and GM, an in depth reading of the pre existing spells good faith attempts to make spells that fit in with other spells of the same level, most of the time there is a pretty good chance of success.

Ok, 20ish iterations later I think,
I THINK, my brain has settled on an alternate numbering.
It doesn't flow quite like the script I use for writing.
Bit it fits the bill for being able to use with string/cord, or simple carving.
I'll attach a pic to this post later.

I use a modified non Latin/english alphabet based script for #writting , promenently so in my #Grimoire . I've recently endeavored to re-work the numerals used in this script as they're clunky.
I have the itch to make the new numerals something that could translate to tied strings and easy carving.
Why?
Fuck if I know.
Maybe trail markings or prayer poles... My brain gets ideas and doesn't always share where it's going with it.

I opted for the print copy of Fluent Python to help my refresh my Python knowledge.
I neglected to check the total page count (~1000) or dimensions when ordering.
