#NowPlaying tomorrow's #playlist today. Not a single track is "classical" (umbrella term) or jazz. I had #TheFolkImplosion in my head, which was an album from my youth, then I started thinking about being young which led to #Calexico / #IronAndWine and then #EricBurdon & #TheAnimals (another album from my youth) and just got lost in popular #60sMusic from there with #TheBeachBoys #TommyJamesAndTheShondells #TheBeauBrummels #TheMoodyBlues #TheLeftBanke

"Here she come now sayin', "Mony, Mony"
Shoot 'em down, turn around, come on, Mony
Hey, she give me love, and I feel all right now
Yeah! - you gotta toss and turn
And feel all right, yeah, I feel all right"
"Crimson and Clover" is a 1968 song by American rock band #TommyJamesAndTheShondells. Written by the duo of Tommy James and drummer Peter Lucia Jr., it was intended as a change in direction of the group's sound and composition. "Crimson and Clover" was released in late 1968 as a rough mix after a radio station leaked it. It spent 16 weeks on the U.S. charts, reaching number one in the United States (in February 1969) and four other countries.
