This includes numerical #modelling of (seismic) wave propagation in porous media, computational #seismology, geophysical inverse problems like full waveform #inversion and traveltime #tomography as well as trajectory models of ice melting probes.

BerkeleyLab scientists developed a pipeline incorporating several #MachineLearning tools to facilitate the study of cryo-electron #tomography datasets. They used the Cori supercomputer at #NERSC to test their methods and further refine the approach. This work could make it feasible to visualize how a cellular structure changes over an organism’s lifecycle.
