i think one of my favourite *decent* uses of #AI is IK Multimedia's #tonex, which *somehow* can capture the harmonic and distorting properties of amps and cabs just by... recording samples as part of their capturing process.

It's probably nothing that couldn't have been done without AI, but I feel like when used for specific uses like this, AI can sometimes do things faster and better for stuff like processing real world input.

It sounds awesome, and it's sometimes a bit hard to get over the fact that all of that sound is coming out of a pedal.

Tatsächlich hat sich die ToneX Trainingszeit im default Modus von ca. 2h auf etwas über 4 Minuten reduziert 😯

Jetzt kann ich den Advanced Modus (höchste Qualität) realistisch nutzen, was für hi-gain Amps (Metal 🤘) unerlässlich ist 👍
