How long does a #tonsillectomy feel like you’re swallowing broken glass with salt, on the verge of brain freeze, every time you take a sip of water?
Like, is this normal?
It’s been just over a week; I knew it would get worse, but like, each day has continually gotten worse than before - I presumed it would start to get better by now. Even Codeine doesn’t help now.

I would go to a doctor, but moving country in 2 weeks, no appointment before then sadly.

I'm on the edge about my daughter's SIXTH documented case of #StrepA. ENT requires SEVEN documented cases, and I'm so frustrated.

Of course I don't want to subject my child to unnecessary surgical procedures, but her snoring and repeated, nearly back-to-back cases of strep have affected her physically, emotionally, and academically with missed school.

I have made appt with alt #ENT doc to discuss possibility of exception for #tonsillectomy.

Sigh.

I ended up with 4 hours of sleep total over 3 different stretches. Feeling rather badly this morning. Had to keep kiddo home from school and will need another doctor visit either this evening or in the morning. I'm a little worried about a #tonsillectomy in the future, the doctor has already mentioned it. When I had mine at 13 it went wrong and I could have died. But we will see I guess.

What do I have the energy and stamina for this morning? Making coffee is the only thing I can muster. Bluh.
