We had a murder today: juvenile #EasternRedtailedHawk killed one of our sweet neighbourhood #pigeons in our driveway and then spent FOUR HOURS eating it. We assume this was either a very bold bird or a particularly hungry one.

He was *absolutely gorgeous* and deserves to eat (not his fault nature made him a predator!) but—not gonna lie—this pair of gentle vegetarians would prefer it did it elsewhere in future! 😬
