"Come On Eileen" is a song by the English group #DexysMidnightRunners (credited to Dexys Midnight Runners and the Emerald Express), released in the United Kingdom in June 1982 as a single from their second studio album #TooRyeAy. It reached number one in the United States and was their second number one hit in the UK, following 1980's "#Geno". The song was produced by #CliveLanger and #AlanWinstanley and was initially claimed to be written by #KevinRowland.

Kevin Rowland has released a new remix of Dexys Midnight Runners' 1982 album - renamed "Too-Rye-Ay (As It Should Have Sounded)".
Is this remix better? Hard to tell, but it does sound really good.
If you're only familiar with "Come On Eileen” (like it or not), the rest of the album is worth a listen. (It fact, the album probably makes more sense if you leave “Eileen” off - stop at the end of "Until I Believe In My Soul".)
