So, I’ve just finished work and I’ve had some time to scroll and wrap my poor Customer Service all day brain around todays events.
So, Musk - The -Anti - Tusk has declared war on Mastodon and declared all links posted from here to there as Spammy or Malicious or whatever.
In a way, that’s good. It’s good because we keep the content here. We keep the good stuff here. It’s ours and we don’t gotta share with no one!
There are other ways to inform folks you’ve migrated away from the Hell site. Use your other SM platforms, send DM’s on Messenger & IG or even text the link on WhatsApp chats if you have them .. or a GC on your phone. Don’t use the Hell site to try and get your followers here. I tried. They unfollowed and blocked me faster than I could let anyone know I’d moved.
Twitter folks will flit across in due course. Use hashtags to get folks to find you here. Don’t give Twitter air. Let it die the death it so rightfully deserves. Don’t post on there. In fact, don’t even post Twitter links here! ( Unless it’s an article that shows Musk dying an embarrassing, painful and stupid death - then go right ahead) In the meantime, make new #TootMoots and open up a dialogue with someone you’ve never met! Who knows, it could be fun!
