I use a Plugin called TootPress ( https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/tootpress/ ) in my Blog, because the Developer of it is a Blogger I already follow for a long Time. 😏

He is active as @irrlicht on Mastodon too.

It's a simple Plugin and gets the Job done very easy, nothing fancy. 😉

If you're doing self hosted WordPress blogs for some of your sites (like me) then you can use the #ActivityPub plugin if your host isn't overprotective. If it is (like one of mine) you can still use #ShareOnMastodon or #ShareOnPixelfed to autopost to your profile, and #TootPress to post your toots on your blog.

@mastodonmigration @atomicpoet not sure if this is do-able, but since there is an ActivityPub plugin for Wordpress that will post to Mastodon, maybe something can be made that works kind of the other way around? This would also solve the problem of the connection being broken if the endpoint can't be found. A site could be added as an app and given a token like with the #TootPress plugin.
