After completing my transition from #BirdLand to #Tootsville I was reminded of what Richard Stallman , #RMS, said all those years back "You can run #GNU/Linux on any old #Lenovo laptop and be free from #BigTech, forever".
After nearly 50 years in IT , #IBM , RPG , C , #Windows , then MAC OS and iOS at home , it was time for my , normally, capitalistic heart to embrace #FSF , remembering what the first F stands for !
So off I trundle to deepest Finglas to buy a second hand Lenovo
