@dougdougdoug @kevinjelliott @jacksantucci The way we are going about things in the #ForwardParty is to advocate for #top5primaries in addition to #RankedChoiceVoting .This allows both independents & 3rd parties greater chance to make a difference & get elected. We are pushing ballot initiatives where we can, but in other states that can only be done through the state legislature, as with #Pennsylvania. The ballot initiative in Nevada does both.

Congress has a 22% approval rate - but individual members have a re-election rate of 94% because districts are drawn to be non-competitive in the general. There’s no real incentive to change anything because you have nearly guaranteed job security.—#AndrewYang
