I always understood it was possible to use pure unwired beeswax foundation for those 'cut comb' frames. Hope your bees draw out nice even comb for you 😊

Mind you, when I ran top bar hives (no foundation at all) I had lovely cut comb honey but only when there was a decent prolonged nectar flow. Sadly that was quite rare in my part of the world 🌦️
