*Rainbow offers @mlp_Sunchaser her ribbon back.* "Hey, nice job with hiding! Using the cloud banks was a good strategy! But you can't hide from an opponent forever!"

"At some point, you have to face them head-on. Challenge them! Make them see your face and cower in fear!" *Rainbow gives Sun Chaser a nod and a pat on the shoulder.* "Still. Good job, though!"

*Rainbow lunged, grabbed at @mlp_Sunchaser's ribbon with her mouth, and tugged! She rolled away, tucking her wings in as she went into a controlled counter-clockwise roll.*

*She let her tongue roll over the object in her mouth. It was solid, tasted like fabric. She grinned as noise buzzed through the radio in her ear, confirming what she thought as she landed.*

*Rainbow had to admit, @mlp_Sunchaser was good at hide and seek. But hide and seek wouldn't keep Rainbow at bay forever.*

*Rainbow, sensing the shift in air pressure, spiraled directly into Sun Chaser's path. She waited, trying to time it just right so she might have a chance at both teasing Sun Chaser with the temptation of a ribbon and a solid chance of grabbing hers.*

*Rainbow comes about, banking hard enough to turn in a body length. She watches as @mlp_Sunchaser drops into a cloud bank, then grins.*

"Gotcha!"

*She builds up speed, pushing further forward, letting it build before pivoting into a tight left bank and slamming her hooves, and the wake from the airstream, into the clouds in front of her.*

*She launches herself upward, hoping to catch sight of her opponent before descending upon her.*

*Rainbow, trying to slow herself and maybe throw off @mlp_Sunchaser, brakes hard, flapping her wings in Sun Chaser's direction. It might throw off her course. It might not.*

*She adjusts course, setting herself up for a near-collision. Quick as a hailstone, she runs right past, brushing tailfur but missing the ribbon.*

"Horsefeathers!" She shouts loud enough for SC to hear before resuming course, coming in right on her tail.*

(Hrm. This feels too easy. But...)

*Rainbow picks up speed, setting her sights on @mlp_Sunchaser's ribbon as it flaps in the pegasus' wake. She can feel her sweat collecting, then evaporating off in the dry air as she edges closer, body length by body length.*

*With a hard push, she surges forward, almost to Sun Chaser's tail. The ground is getting close, too, which she's thinking about as she considers a break and reform.*

*No guts, no glory, though.*

*Rainbow is a distance away, running parallel to @mlp_Sunchaser for now. She looks over. Since it's just them, she thinks about manuevers.*

*With a twist of her form, she grins and arcs upward, gaining altitude as she plans to come overhead, above Sun Chaser. Without clouds in the heat, it's hard to hide, but who's trying to hide?*

*Rainbow puts on her goggles, ensuring they're set. She twitches her tail to ensure her ribbon is fixed well enough that she won't lose it, then gives @mlp_Sunchaser a smile.*

"Good luck catching up!" *And with a blast of air, she launches herself into the air, rainbow contrail following after.*

*Rainbow exits the locker room and takes a leisurely flight to the runway. She expects @mlp_Sunchaser to put up a fight and she's not taking anything.for granted.*

*On spotting her, she lands and walks over.* "S'up, Sun Chaser! You ready to do this thing?"

*Rainbow grins, definitely a bit cocky.* "Got your ribbon?"

*Other then typing on the next book she had been listening to #TopBolt23 on the radio and was cheering for @mlp_rainbow / @RainbowDash.*

Soarin looked at the dusty camera, checking it for problems. He couldn't find any. Well, except that the focus was pretty bad, hence why he was going for some super-close-up shots of the fliers.

"Well, Soarinstagram fans - you heard it here first! @MLP_Streak__ intends on doin' better next time, and his training techniques?! A total mystery! If you want to learn more about The Wonderbolts' techniques, make sure to come to 'Fliers of the Future' camp!"

He nods again.

"Yep, that 'sge hot ky ribbon' sure is a worry! I guess Flatfoot'd better watch out for that hot ky ribbon, no?"

Shoving the camera back into @MLP_Streak__'s face, he continues with the post-dog fight interview.

"How do you plan on comin' back into the game for #TopBolt24?"

@MLP_Streak__ received a sage nod.

"Well, they are indeed - but havin' just been knocked out of the competition by the coffee hound herself, surely you've gotta have some experience in the field? What would you say are Spitfire's strengths and weaknesses in this competition?"

He gasps a little as the competition heats up, the dog fights getting progressively dramatic and violent.

Soarin frowned, his camera shoved so close to @mlp_Fleetfoot's face, it was practically up her right nostril.

"Hey c'mon! At least answer the que-"

...

"Aaaand she's gone," he sighed. "Well, fans! Wish Fleetfeet luck!"

Flipping the ancient camera around, which he found in the E.A.B. Gallop storage, he checked to see if it was high speed. The camera was so old, he didn't know if it was even on.

"Over to you, Thunderlane!" he chirped. The 'interviews' continued...

Shocked at the brevity of the 'interview', Soarin gives chase to the confident @mlp_Fleetfoot.

"Well, fans will remember! Especially the Fleetfooters! ...which is totally what your fanclub would be called. Either that or the Fleetfoot Fan Flyers..."

Trailing off for a second, he clears his throat.

"What's your opinion on #TopBolt23 so far, Flutefoot? If you weren't in it to win it, who d'you think's got a fightin' chance? Top 6 positions are all 100 points from each other!"
