#Tossa is an interessant #toponym. It is the name of a mountain stream both in :noreg: and 🇫🇷 , close to the 🇪🇦 border . You can find some others in Spain, but only in Catalonia (@Cabassers) Tossa is also a place in 🇨🇭 , up in the Rhine valley, close to the 🇮🇹 border. And a place in northern 🇸🇪 close to the 🇫🇮 border.

I will discuss those facts in relation to the southward migration perspective, in my blogg in February.

I do not only unveil & decrypt the ethymology of :noreg: -toponyms in Catalonia.🥱 I do this within #Basquecountry too.😆 Remember that å baske, is still a :noreg: -verb... And «basque» is the french writing of «baske»...😉

My favourite #toponym in french #basquecountry is until now: #Jarlekua (a special cow...😆) 100% pure :noreg: 😂, only 5 km from the 🇪🇦 -border in the vincinity of St Martin-d'Arrossa. #Euzkarra
