Another high tide visit to Bowling Green Marsh this morning. The two Spoonbill were still present along with plenty of duck and wader species. Bowling Green Marsh reserve (#Topsham) is on the river Clyst as it joins the river Exe and this morning there were plenty of Black-tailed Godwit, #Avocet, Redshank, Pintail, Wigeon, Teal, Shoveler, Lapwing. There was one Spotted Redshank which took some finding! Along the lane, my first Mistle Thrush of the year.

After the excitement of last night's footie, a quiet walk with some friends was just what was needed. The walk took in the nature reserves at Dart's Farm, Goosemoor and Bowling Green Marsh. Good fun, fresh air and plenty of birdlife.
