Also in 1933, for the first time the entire floor revue from Harlem's Cotton Club went on tour, playing theatres in principal cities.

For those not familiar with Torch Song they were a William Orbit's mid-80s band. At the time, it was a step forward in club music. You can hear the elements of future EDM, especially in the opening 6:47 minute track "Don't Look Now". Samples, gated drums, drop the bass, it's all here but in 1984!
