Testing some vcarving techniques with parallel grain. It is not working out so well...getting lots of gaps. And then I broke the bit by hitting it with a piece of wood. Doh! Oh well...I'll work on it later.

A pair of butterfly bowls in the works. I machine the molds out of cherry on my Tormach and fill it with epoxy. One is a light translucent blue, the other a pink "lava shimmer". I can't wait till it cures and I can proceed to the next steps!
