@pinhman Thanks for the link. I didn't know there were bids other than Postmedia's to buy Canwest's papers. Frankly, it surprises me that anyone would want to buy a newspaper in Canada these days: I thought that they all lose money, and that they're all cutting staff. So far as I can see, #Torstar is unprofitable.

Maybe it's changed with government subsidies.
