I'm going to be out of town helping a friend build a small house. He's on the "home" stretch 🤪 . We'll be adding some beams for a loft.
So, I cooked about 9lbs of #PorkShoulder & #FrijolesRefritos. I made the dough for #Tortillas I'll cook there. There's two chocolate #Cakes and four batches of #Granola. I still have today and tonight, if I want to do more. Maybe I'll bring eggs and ingredients for pancakes.

#bread , #pasta , #tortillas , etc are all basically salt+flour+maybe oil at their most basic. None of them is actually hard to make if you plan a little bit.
#fermenting #vegetables is INSANELY easy - the microbes do most of the work for you. And way cheaper than buying premade.
