This is an out and out hit piece on #ToryWhanau. It’s a “nothing burger” story about her dog (for gods sake) - and then refers to the controversies swirling around her (ie the ‘drinks at restaurant’ story hand-delivered to the media). This is getting incredibly desperate & pathetic. Strong, high profile brown women are particular targets and never afforded the same treatment as white men #nzpol

i really like #torywhanau..she’s what Wellington needs - progressive, climate & equality focused.

Fact that she was tipsy and let fly some “f bombs” during the course of a private conversation is irrelevant for me.

The “do you know who I am” comment - if she said it, she was probably under the influence of alcohol. She’ll learn from this.

This is kind of “tut tut” bs - we can’t afford a minor misstep to derail a very capable and good person. #nzpol
