Well, I went on a ~1 mile hike today, and although the hike up was excruciatingly painful, the view was worth it. Found two little friends to say hello to: a lizard sunning himself and a well-camouflaged spider. The way down was much easier, although the dirt path down was steep enough to where I felt like a mountain goat!
3/10 would hike again
