Finished this collection of sly short stories featuring fairy tales, fairies, vampires, magic and wolves who shed their fur.

Every one feels fresh, subverting familiar tropes and tales in interesting and often feminist ways. It's also kind, finding hope in the darkest of situations. The prose is taut and elegant and there isn't a single weak link in the whole collection.

Thoroughly recommended.
