My Wordle score as the number of people in a painting. For a while Toulouse-Lautrec was a regular at the brothel in Paris', Rue des Moulins. Here, in 'At the salon - the divan', he so well captures the atmosphere of joyless tedium of the women apathetically awaiting their 'guests'. The general feel of the painting creates an atmosphere where the women seem to have resigned into a fatal lifestyle and shows the ambiguity of the place, which Lautrec does not judge.
