I finished my second #tourdefleece2023 yarn yesterday. I ended up twining the singles to a fingering weight yarn with a WPI of 15. The finished skein has a length of about 547 m and weighs 155g. The Tour de France might be over, but the Tour de France Femmes has just started. So I grabbed my wheel and continued on a WIP that has been on it since 2018 😬. It's baby alpaca fleece that I cleaned and carded myself, I even took the alpaca for a walk 😊.

Finished the yarn yesterday! I'm very happy with how it turned out. It is a sport weight yarn with a wpi of 13 and a grist of 317 m/100g. I restarted another WIP that was blocking one of my wheels for the last 2 years. The roving was dyed by #Regenbogenwolle and consists of 83% Gotland wool and 17% rayon from pineapple.

Started #tourdefleece a bit late this year. My goal is to finish a yarn I started spinning a while ago. Been spinning with my new bottom whorl drop spindle I recently bought at #vävkompaniet. The roving is handpainted by #Elfenwolle. It is a Merino/Nylon blend and I'm planning on making socks from the finished yarn. I'm using a short draw and am still undecided on the number of plies. #tourdefleece2023
