Edinburgh city centre was heaving today; the Fringe starts on Friday. I must remember not to shout at people blocking pavements.

It was so busy around the statuette of Greyfriars' Bobby that the crowd was in the road, forcing anyone trying to pass into the oncoming traffic.

I think I'll propose to the council that they rig the statue to the mains, simultaneously stopping people rubbing the statue's nose and decreasing the number of tourists.
