Well, I'm 10 pages into #Neuromancer and I can see why it's so influential.

Very noir, VERY 80's. The mix of Japanophilia and Yellow Panic is strong.

I'm enjoying it, though it is very different from the modern, queer sci-fi I've been reading.

Reading "Dead Silence" by S.A. Barnes. It's a sci fi ghost ship book. I'm not usually one for horror. It's...good, but the tension is mounting at 40% and the spoop hasn't even started yet.
