In some #trauma circumstances (neck, armpit, groin) it's very difficult to use a #tourniquet to control #bleeding. What's an alternative?

This video descibes the use of a Foley (or balloon) #catheter, usually insterted into the bladder to drain urine, to control massive #haemorrhage

I've just learnt of the passing, in Aug 2022, of one of #HeavyMetal's greatest ever drummers: Ted Kirkpatrick of prog #thrash giants #Tourniquet.

I stumbled upon this news while listening to the track Viento Borrascoso, which I'd looked up to post in accompaniment to the below quote from #Dewey. Ted spoke often of listening to nature as inspiration for his drumbeats.
